Introduction

After I got my Cuisinart Ice Cream machine I started trying different ice cream recipes. It was annoying how much time they took. I came up with this and it is so simple, easy and low calorie that you can eat it every day. I have lots of different variations so check out the instructions for other ideas. Ingredients

1-32 oz. container of Yoplait Light Vanilla Fat Free Yogurt
2 Tablespoons of fruit jam (calories are calculated with Sugar Free Strawberry)

Directions

You must have a frozen yogurt/ice cream machine. Place pre-frozen bowl into the machine and start it up. Dump in the 32oz container of yogurt and 2 Tbsp of jam. Stick your spoon down into the container as it rotates and help combine jam and yogurt, if you like. It will combine itself.

Leave machine run until the tone of the motor changes or it shuts itself down. Spoon it into bowls, serve immediately. The whole family will enjoy this soft serve treat.

I like to use the Smuckers Simply Fruit, 100% fruit spread (2 Tbsp.) Strawberry is my favorite.

I have also thrown in spoons full of left over Jello into the yogurt instead of the jam. The Jello blends right in during the freezing. Orange is my favorite.

The variations are endless.

The calorie count is for a full 8 ounce serving, but some of the yogurt will be frozen hard to the sides of the freezer's bucket. I'd weigh out your serving and let everyone else fight over the rest. You don't want to get cheated out of any of those calories:)
