Ingredients

    .5 cup lentils
    1cup white rice
    500gr Tomatoes
    3cloves garlic
    1tsp salt

Directions

wash rice and lentils very well.
boil the lentils untill almost done.
add the rice and a dash of salt and let the rice cook.
over a low heat put tomatoes, garlic and a dash of salt in a pan cover it and let it cook.
blend than add a spoon of vinegar and serve with the kochari.

    great egyptian dish, but usally u should add chick peas and macaroni :) - 4/7/11
