Introduction

Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    1/4 c butter
    1/4 c canola
    1/2 c brown sugar, packed
    1/4 c xylitol
    1/4 c egg substitute
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. unbleached enriched flour
    1/4 c. cocoa powder, unsweetened
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp salt
    4 oz bittersweet chocolate chips

Directions

1. preheat oven to 350`F.
2. Mix all ingredients in bowl starting with creaming the butter, oil and sugars, then gradually adding the rest.
3. drop by slightly rounded tsp. onto ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheets.
4. Bake for 12 minutes.
Makes 24-36 cookies.
