Introduction

Sweet little biscuits for any occasion! Sweet little biscuits for any occasion!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 tube buttermilk biscuits (ACME 7oz. biscuits, 10 per tube, 100 calories for two).
1/4 cup melted butter (won't need all of it)
10 tsps strawberry preserves (favorite flavor)

Directions

In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon. Brush the tops and sides of each biscuit with butter. Dip the biscuit in the cinnamon sugar (or sprinkle on top for a less sweet version).
Place on ungreased baking sheets. With the end of a wooden spoon handle, make a deep indentation in the center of each biscuit; fill with 1 teaspoon preserves. Bake at 375° for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 15 minutes before serving (preserves will be hot). Yield: 5 servings, 2 biscuits each.
