Introduction

"Lynn Wienhold Edition" from the betty crocker book.

we substitute 1 cup white flour with 1/2 cup whole grain and 1/2 cup rye flour

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 egg

    1 Cup Milk (Buttermilk makes this much richer{better})

    2 Tblsp Vegetable Oil

    1 Cup Flour

    1 Tblsp Sugar

    1 tsp Baking Powder

    ½ tsp Soda


Directions

Beat egg, add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth. (Note – thicker batter the thicker the pancakes – add flour to thicken if you want thick)

Lightly oil griddle, drop water on griddle to test heat if water skitter around, griddle is ready.

Pour batter on hot griddle, Turn pancakes when bubble start to pop. Cook until golden brown

Makes about four medium/small pancakes.
2 pancakes per serving = total of 2 servings
