Ingredients

    1 lb. frozen beef (cubed for stew)
    1 cup V8 vegetable juice cocktail
    3 tbsp worcestershire sauce
    3 fl oz red wine, 3 fl
    1 packet of onion soup mix (dry)
    1 medium (2-1/2" dia) onion, chopped
    1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) potato, chopped (skin on)
    1/2 of a 10 oz. package of frozen mixed vegetables (corn, carrots, beans)

Directions

In a slow cooker/crockpot, combine all liquid ingredients with onion soup mix and stir well. Add still frozen mixed vegetables, chopped potato and chopped onion. Stir again. Add frozen stew beef (cubed). Cook on low 9 hours. Serve alone or with farro, barley or Israeli couscous.
