Ingredients

    9 noodles - whole wheat lasagna noodles (uncooked)


    1 jar (26 oz) - Light spaghetti sauce
    1 lb - lean ground turkey meat
    1 c - water
    1/2 medium sized onion, chopped


    1 large egg
    2 c - fat free mozzarella
    15 oz - fat free ricotta cheese
    1/2 c - cottage cheese


    2 tbsp - chopped or dried parsley
    2 tbsp - chopped or dried oregano
    2 tbsp - chopped or dried basil
    4 tsp - salt
    4 tsp - chopped or dried garlic

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Brown turkey meat. Drain. Stir in chopped onions, spaghetti sauce and water. Let simmer while you prepare the cheese mix.

3. In a separate bowl, combine the egg, ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, and apprx 1 1/4 cups of the mozzarella. Mix well.

4. Spray your baking pan with Pam. Line the bottom of the pan with one cup of the meat sauce from step 2. Lay down 3 lasagna noodles on top of this sauce, then spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture from step 3 on top of the noodles. Sprinkle a 1/2 tbsp each of the parsley, oregano and basil, and 1 tsp each of the salt and garlic on top of the cheese mixture. Then add another cup of the meat sauce, and repeat this twice. You should have sauce, noodles, cheese, spices, sauce, noodles, cheese, spices, sauce, noodles, cheese, spices. Spread the remaining sauce, and then top that with the rest of the shredded mozzarella (about 3/4 cup) and the rest of the spices.

5. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and return to the oven for another 15 minutes.
