Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    2 cups asparagus
    1 cup zucchini
    1 tsp basil
    2 cloves garlic (large, minced)
    salt
    pepper (fresh ground)
    1-2 tsp canola oil

Directions

Mince 2 cloves garlic.

Chop asparagus into 1 inch pieces and zucchini into not-so-thin but still thin half circles.

Heat 1 or 2 teaspoons canola or olive oil in skillet (whatever your preference). Under low-medium heat, add minced garlic. Cook until garlic turns golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add asparagus and basil (you can use dry or fresh).
Cook for about 5 minutes, then add the zucchini.
Freshly ground black peppers goes great with this, I like to add about 1 teaspoon but you can add to your own taste, also add the salt to your own taste.

Cook until asparagus is tender yet, still has a crunch when you bite into it, about 10-15 minutes.
