Introduction

This makes a big loaf, enough for two med sized loaf pans. It also makes great burgers!

Ingredients

    14 oz Jimmy Dean, Lowfat pork sausage
    1 lb 4% lean ground round
    1 lb Lean ground Turkey
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 med Gala apple diced fine
    2 lg cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp All purpose seasoning
    1 lg egg
    1/2 to 1 cup quick cooking oats
    4 Tbls catsup, divided in half

Directions

Just throw everything into a bowl, except half of the catsup, and mix together. Either shape one large loaf (free form) into a baking dish or divide and put into two loaf pans.

Bake at 350 for 45 min, spread the remaining catsup on top and bake for additional 10 min.

Makes 12-16 one inch slices
