Introduction

Ingredients

1 small cabbage, shredded
1 onion
1 pound hamburger
salt and pepper
Dough:
1 pkg dry yeast
1/2 warm water
2 cups milk
5 T sugar
1 T salt
6 T oil
7-8 cups flour
Directions
Brown ground beef with onion. Drain. Add cabbage. Cook until done and drain. Add salt and pepper to taste.
For dough, dissolve yeast in warm water. Scald milk, add sugar, salt and oil. cool to lukewarm. Add yeast to milk mixture. Add half of the flour and beat until smooth. Mix in enough flour to make a light dough. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let rise until double in bulk-punch down. Roll dough 1/4" thick. Cut in 5" or 6" squares. Place a large tablespoon of meat mixture in center of square. Bring corners together and pinch seams closed. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes until brown.
