Introduction

An easy baked version of an Italian favorite! An easy baked version of an Italian favorite!
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in half and pounded to about 1/2" thick
    Italian bread crumbs, for coating
    2 cups whole wheat spaghetti, cooked
    1 cup prepared spaghetti sauce (Ragu, Prego, Classico, etc.)
    2 oz. part-skim mozzarella cheese, shredded or sliced thin
    2 tbsp. shredded parmesan cheese

Directions

Makes 2 servings.

Dredge the chicken breasts in the bread crumbs until they're coated. Bake in a 350 degree oven until done (about 10-15 minutes on each side). Keep oven on.

Place spaghetti noodles in a small baking dish, and place chicken on top of noodles. Cover with the spaghetti sauce and then add the cheeses on top.

Bake until brown and bubbly, about 15-20 minutes.
