Ingredients

    about 8 oz of chicken breast or 1 pound of easy peel shrimp
    half carton heavy whipping cream
    1 Tbsp oil
    1/2 box of any pasta you like (whole wheat or regular)
    Salt (to taste)
    Pepper (to taste)
    Half medium onion (cut into slices)

Directions

Add oil to pan, cut half of medium onion into slices, put in pan. Let onions sautee until soft then add 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes. Cook until sauce is extremely hot and bubbling. Add about half cup of white wine or vodka and stir. Let cook for about 20 minutes. As sauce is cooking, in separate pan, bring water to a boil and cook pasta as indicated on box. Add chicken to wine sauce and simmer until well blended. add pinch of salt and two pinches of pepper (or as much as you like). When pasta is finished after about 10 minutes of cooking, add pasta to wine sauce. Add half carton of small heavy whipping cream and simmer for another five minutes.

    This is very yummy, next time I will use more wine for the extra flavor. I added some garlic powder as well. - 8/16/09
