Introduction

The way I see it is this: Why eat fake food, when you can portion-control the real deal? It's not an every day food, but it will SATISFY, and doesn't taste like styrofoam! ;-) The way I see it is this: Why eat fake food, when you can portion-control the real deal? Ingredients

    ~ 1/4 cup (50g) Popping Corn (kernels), un-popped
    ~ 1 tbsp. Butter, salted
~ A few turns of freshly ground Sea Salt and Black Pepper (to taste)

Directions

1. Pop the popping corn kernels in an electric air popper.
2. While the pop corn is popping, melt the butter in the microwave.
3. Add salt and pepper to the melted butter, stir, and pour over the pop corn.
4. Put in a DVD or turn on your favourite show, and enjoy! :)
*Recipe could be split / shared (0.5 servings in tracker), but I'm never THAT self-controlled! ;-) Besides, pop corn is high-fiber. That makes it at least semi-good for you! ;-)

    O.K.
This isn't any more "real" that air popped popcorn, It's just more unhealthy. - 2/4/12

    Very Good
Great recipe! It is a little hard to spread the butter mixture (I added salt & pepper to the melted butter) all over the popcorn but it still came out very good. Just enough flavor and not too salty. Love it - thanks - 5/10/10

    Very Good
So nice to find another "real food" cook. We're watching "The Rescuers" and this satisfied my craving to chew. - 2/21/10
