    2 cups water
    1 TB Olive Oil
    1 TB Curry Powder ( I prefer the hot Jamaican kind to the super-bland grocery store variety)
    Dash Cinnamon
    Dash Nutmeg
    1.5 oz mini package of raisins

    1 1/3 cups whole wheat couscous
    1 cup canned chick peas, drained


In a medium saucepan, bring the water, oil, seasonings, and raisins to a boil.

Remove from heat.

Add the chickpeas and couscous. Mix, cover, and let stand for 5 minutes.

Fluff with fork and serve.

    Very simple recipe! I like food with full flavour so I added some tofu and coconut and it became so delicious I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing! - 2/9/10

    Like the previous poster...I can't stop eating this. The only thing I would do different is add more raisins. - 5/24/10
