Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
3 eggs
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp allspice
2 tsp nutmeg
2 cup applesauce, unsweetened
3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups chopped walnuts (optional, included in nutritional info)
2 cups raisins (optional, not included in nutritional info)
Directions
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and continue beating.
Combine all dry ingredients in separate bowl.
Alternate adding dry ingredients and applesauce to creamed sugar/butter/egg mixture, until completely combined. Add walnuts (raisins).
Bake in a greased, floured, tube pan at 325 degrees for about 1 hour. Let pan set for 5 minutes, then remove cake from pan to cool.
