Ingredients

    1 lb. ground beef, 93% lean
    2 egg whites
    1/2 cup Old Fashioned Oatmeal, ground (not instant)
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1 tbsp. worchestire sauce
    1 tbsp. tomato paste
    1 tsp. oregano, dried
    1 tsp. basil, dried
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder

Directions

Coat a baking dish with cooking spray. Put the oatmeal in a food processor or blender and process until the oatmeal is broken down to a coarse mixture. Put all ingredients in a bowl and with clean hands mix together until well combined.

Take a 1/3 cup measure or ice cream scoop, which equals approximately 3 ozs. and with hands form into a ball. Then divide that in half to make 1 1/2 oz. meatballs.

Place raw meatballs into prepared baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 mins.

Makes approx. 16 meatballs or 8 servings.
