Crockpot Soup With Ground Beef, Tomatoes, Carrots, And Celery Crockpot Soup With Ground Beef, Tomatoes, Carrots, And Celery
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1/2 lbs ground beef
    About 6 carrots chopped, depending on preference
    About 4 stalks celery chopped, depending on preference
    1 onion, diced
    1 can beef broth
    1 large (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
    small garlic clove or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp thyme
    1/4 tsp basil
    1 bay leaf
    pepper to taste
    garlic salt to taste

Directions

Brown beef in frying pan. Once brown add diced onion (and garlic if using fresh) and cook till tender. Put all ingredients and spices into crock pot and let cook 3-4 hours on high. Great with sourdough. Serves about 6

    Incredible!
    Used 3 large carrots instead of 6 and 3 stalks of celery instead of 4 with all the rest of the ingredients and made it on top of the stove, simmered it for 1.5 hours it was incredibly delicious! - 2/10/09
