Introduction
I usually make these up in the morning, so that they are ready to throw in the oven in the evening. Great with a side salad. I usually make these up in the morning, so that they are ready to throw in the oven in the evening. Great with a side salad.Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
It is OK to add flavoring with spices. I like to add Taco seasoning or cayenne, garlic, salt or pepper. Whatever you like.
Each of the ingredients is a full can.
Directions
Serving sizes depend on the size of Pyrex you use. I have two 8x8 that I use. That makes it easy for portion sizes. You can use whatever you have.
I first brown the turkey and add spices, onions and tomatoes. Then I layer the same way you would lasagna. I tend to tear the tortillas to help them fit in the dish. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
After I make it I usually let it sit in the refrigerator until I am ready to bake it. I cover it with foil and bake it at 400F for 30min. Uncover for the last 10 min of baking. It is finished when the tortillas get soft.
