    Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Garlic, 2 cloves (remove)
    Green Peppers (bell peppers), 2 cup, chopped (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 500 grams (remove)
    Lentils, 120 grams (remove)
    Sunflower Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
    Water, tap, 700 mL (remove)


Heat the oil and cook the onions, garlic and peppers for 5 minutes.

Add the lentils, tomatoes and bayleaf and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Add the water and bring to the boil. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the vegetables and lentils are tender.

Season as necessary and liquidise with a soup blender.
