Ingredients

    1 cup dried shrimps soaked in warm water,
    1 large onion chopped,
    1 large tomato chopped,
    1/2 tsp paprika or red chilli powder,
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder,
    salt as per taste,
    1 tbsp veg oil sunflower preferably,
    coriander leaves a handful washed and chopped finely,
    1slice dried mango,
    1 cup water (opt).

Directions

-Wash the dried shrimps for removing the salt from it and soak them in warm or boiled water for 1/2 hour for more softness. Drain the water before use.
-Wash and chop onion, tomato, coriander leaves set aside seperately.
- Later in a nonstick pan add 1 tbsp oil or less and add onions to it. Let them cook till light pink in colour.
- Add tomatoes and saute them well. Later cover the lid and let be on slow flame till the tomatoes are soft and tender.
-Add red chilli pwd, turmeric pwd, salt as reqd. saute for 2 to 3 minutes
- Then add soaked shrimps and saute for 2 three minutes. Add a cup of water or less as per the need and cover it and cook for atleast 10 minutes on medium flame.
- In between stir it well add dry mango 1 slice.
when cooked and dry add coriander leaves saute in and serve.
Serve hot with indian whole wheat chapatis or rice chappatis
