Introduction

A healthy alternative to potato chips. A healthy alternative to potato chips.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 Cucumber (medium sized about 8 inches)
1 Lemon (or 3 tbsp of lemon juice)
a dash of salt (more or less for taste)
*also if you would like to add some chilli powder for taste as well. Just a sprinkle will do.

Directions

This makes a great snack when you are craving something crunchy. Makes 1 serving but feel free to share!

Wash the cucumber and lemon.

Peel the cucumber (I prefer doing the fancy restraunt peel so you are left with only half the peel on the cucumber). Slice the cucumber into about 1/8th to a 1/4th of an inch thick. Transfer to a bowl or shallow plate.

You might need a strainer if you are easily bothered by the lemon seeds. Slice the lemon into halves and squeeze out the lemon juice on to cucumbers (or pour the 3 tbsp of lemon juice). Now sprinkle the dash of salt & chili powder for taste.
