Introduction

Ingredients

    1 onion, 1 bell pepper, 2 stalks celery, 1 pkg (1 lb) Hot Italian turkey sausage, 1 can black beans, 1 can Muir Glen Hearty Black Bean Soup (Progresso has one also), 1 cup favorite salsa and 1 cup of water.

Directions

In a stock pot, saute onions, celery and bell pepper in a tbsp of olive oil until slightly tender. Cook turkey sausage until cooked through. Add can of black beans (undrained), your favorite salsa,and a can of black bean soup. Heat over med. low heat until simmer. Add water to bring soup to desired consistency. May garnish with dollop of sour cream, cheese, or onions and serve with some baked tortilla chips. (Garnish and sides not included in nutritional value of recipe).
