Introduction

Ingredients

    4 lbs Lean Pork
    1 lg can Sauerkraut
    1 lg can Tomatoes
    1 tbsp Caraway Seed
    1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper
    1 cup brown rice

Directions

Start with a large pork loin, or any lean cut, about 4 lbs, and remove excess fat. Cut into pieces about 1/2 lb each (not applicable to chops and ribs).
Put into large stockpot, slow cooker, or dutch oven; pour tomatoes, sauerkraut, rice, caraway and red pepper over top.
Cook on low for 2-3 hours or until rice is tender and pork falls apart.
Yields about twelve 1cup servings.

    Good
    I added a packet of sweet & low and omited the caraway seeds . I had to cook it much longer. But when it was finally cooked. It was pretty good. - 8/23/07
