    1 pkg Fresh Cranberries
    1 Tbsp Cinnamon, ground (a cinnamon stick works too)
    2-3 tsp Brown Sugar, unpacked
    3 C water
    1 tsp Ground Cloves


Combine all ingredients in a medium sized sauce pan, make sure to discard any mushy or odd looking berries. Cook over med-high heat stirring occasionally. You will hear popping, that is just the berries and is normal. Once the sauce thickens reduce heat to simmer and continue to stir occasionally until you reach your desired consistency, This version uses little sugar so it is tarter and more natural tasting but you can add more sugar if you want it sweeter.
