Introduction

Healthy and tasty! I make them in 6 large muffin tins or you can use 12 regular sized muffin tins. Healthy and tasty! I make them in 6 large muffin tins or you can use 12 regular sized muffin tins.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 C oats
    1 C skim milk
    1 C whole wheat flour
    1/2 C brown sugar
    1/2 C unsweetened applesauce
    2 egg whites
    1tsp baking powder
    1/2 tspbaking soda
    1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Mix all ingredients together. scoop into 12 muffin tins. Bake at 400 for 20-25 min. Mix together 1t sugar and 1/4 t cinnamon. Sprinkle over tops of muffins. Makes 6 extra large or 12 regular.

    The muffins seemed bland to me. I even added a sprinkle of cinnamon to the batter before baking. - 3/12/20

    Incredible!
    I was a bit worried with no oil or shortening, but these were great!. I used 1 whole egg instead of the egg white, and I used white flour. Also, brushed a bit of butter over the tops so the cinnamon sugar would stick. Very tasty. Will make again. - 3/24/19
