Introduction

Wanted to try some of the soups on here but didn't have all the right ingredients. So improvised what I had. Tasted ok but next time will use celery and other vegetables. Also I think less water and more chicken broth or some chicken bulllon at least. Wanted to try some of the soups on here but didn't have all the right ingredients. So improvised what I had. Ingredients

    Cabbage, 1 Head Chopped
    Onion, 1 medium, chopped
    1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cubed
    2 Cups Lentils, dry
    2 -14 oz cans chicken broth
    Water
    2 bay leaves
    2 tbsp garlic
    1 tbsp celery salt
    1 - 29 ounce can tomato sauce
    1-1lb bag frozen broccoli normandy mix

Directions

1. Chop cabbage, onion and put in stock pot
2. Add chicken broth, chicken, and lentils.
3. Add enough water to cover vegetables
4. Add spices
5. Cook until lentils are done
6. Add tomato sauce and frozen vegatables
7. Cook until all ingredients are done

Makes approximately 20 -2 cup servings
