Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    1/2 cup honey
    2 tablespoons dijon mustard
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1 tablespoons olive oil
2 tsp poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional; included in calorie count)

Directions

Place all the ingredients in a small jar and shake until mixed. Stays good tightly-sealed in the fridge for at least a month. Shake before measuring out onto your salad-- each serving is one tablespoon.

Note: the poppy seeds are a really good addition because they let me see which parts of my salad have been touched by dressing and which parts haven't!

Makes 15 one-tablespoon servings.

So I kind of tweaked it just a bit. I realized last minute "crap I don't have olive oil!" but you recommended sesames in it and I had some sesame oil. Used less oil than the recipe required but it came out really tasty! Nutty, sweat, tangy, very good. - 11/6/14

This is REALLY good. And really versatile too!, you can use it on chicken, in mashed potatoes, on peas, and so much more! (And, of course, on your salad) - 1/24/10

    Good
This recipe was a little thin for my liking. I only did a half batch because I didn't want leftovers. Used it as dip for chicken tenders. After seeing how runny it was I doubled the dijon and came up with a bit better consistency. Otherwise, very good. - 7/2/13

This is our new favorite. Thinking of more ways to use it besides salads. - 4/30/13
