Ingredients

    1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp. Cinnamon, ground
    2 Tbsp. Ground Flax Seed
    2 Eggs
    2 tbstp. Stevia
    1/2 cup applesauce
    1 small apple chopped

    Topping:
    1/4 Cups Yogurt, plain, low fat,
    1/4 Cups Walnuts,
    Sliced Apples,
    E.D. Smith No Sugar Added Syrup, (approx 2 tbsp)

Directions

In larger bowl, mix Flour, Baking soda, cinnamon, flax seed.
In a small bowl mix 2 eggs and stevia, and applesauce. combine with dry ingredients, add chopped apples ~ you can add them all or keep some to garnish top.

Cook according to waffle iron instructions until brown. Made 2 large (round, 4 sections). I counted 2 quarters as serving. Very filling!
