Ingredients

    Popcorn, air-popped - 32 cups
    Sugar - 2 cups
    Light Corn Syrup - 1/2 cup
    Baking Soda - 1 tsp
    Butter, unsalted - 1 cup
    Salt - 1 tsp

Directions

Heat oven to 200.

Melt butter in large pan. Add sugar, salt, and light corn syrup. Bring to boil. Boil 5 minutes.

Air-pop 32 cups (8 quarts) white or yellow popcorn.

Once caramel is boiled, add baking soda and stir well. In large roasting pan, combine popcorn and caramel and coat popcorn well. Bake for one hour, stirring well every 15 minutes.

Put on wax paper (or parchment with baking spray) to cool. Store in air tight containers.
