Introduction

this is what I use on my fried rice and other Asian things that need a sauce because I am allergic to soy and cannot use soy sauce. It is sweet but very nice compliment to dishes. this is what I use on my fried rice and other Asian things that need a sauce because I am allergic to soy and cannot use soy sauce. Ingredients

    * Brown Sugar, 1 cup, packed
    * Cider Vinegar, 1 cup
    * *Knudsen Just Cranberry Juice, 1 cup
    * Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
    * Salt, 1 dash
    * Cornstarch, 2 Tbsp

Directions

I dump all the liquids and the sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil. I make a slurry with the cornstarch with a ratio of 1pt cornstarch to 2pts room temp water and then add it to the sauce to thicken it. I add a dash of salt to enhance the flavor but you don't have to add salt at all if you don't want to.
