Introduction

Using a hearty multi-grain gives this French toast lots of texture and is very filling. I topped mine with a berry sauce which I made with 1 cup of berries and a little honey to sweeten. Ingredients

La Brea Bakery Whole Grain Bread, 6 oz
    Egg, fresh, 1 large
    Milk, 1%, .5 cup
    cinnamon, 1 pinch (~1/8 tsp)

Directions

combine milk, eggs and cinnamon. Heat non-stick pan and spray with Pam. Dip bread in egg mixture until totally saturated but still holding together. Transfer to pan and cook until golden on each side. Serve with you choice of topping.

Storage tip - I wrapped my leftover portions in plastic wrap and put them in freezer bag to freeze for another meal. I added a couple drops of water to each slice before warming them in microwave. This helped restore some of the moisture that was lost through freezing.
