Home made pittas are the best. I actually used a mix of white and malted flour but only white was listed in the app. I also use rapeseed oil but listed olive for the same reason.

Pitta bread

Mix all dry ingredients except salt, add half the water and all the salt, continue adding the water until all ingredients are combined.
Knead by hand or in a mixer with a dough hook until elastic.
Set aside to rise for 1 hour.
Tip onto a surface with some dry semolina and roll into a long sausage shape.
Cut into 12 equal pieces.
Roll each piese into a flat oval shape.
