Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Very good, and I made some adjustments due to the sodium content.

2lbs of boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can of Campbells cream of chicken soup
4 cans of water
5 celery stalks
3 medium sized onions quartered
1 box of Uncle Bens Wild Rice.
Place chicken in crock pot, and cook on low 8hr
I'd forego the rice a roni next time simply because it has a ton of sodium and carbs. The chicken was great - a definate will do again.
This is very tender, and good tasting. I will try and reduce the sodium level next time, though !
The nutrition facts seem too low as far as sodium and calories. I know it would be delicious if I didn't have to watch out for sodium and calories.
I think the submitter used one prepared serving of boxed rice and not the whole box. Personally I would put the cooked chicken over plain rice or couscous. The sodium content would be greatly reduced.
Very tasty & filling! Would make it again!
I do agree that the Nutritional Info does not include the rice ~ it would be about 400-500 calories per serving.
The rice a roni has more carbs plus the soup has lots of carbs and sugar. This is showing 21 carbs and i think it is more.
I burned off the calories from this food by cleaning and moving boxes.
