I made without all the sugar, kept the brown sugar. It worked out okay.
There is a lot of sugar in this recipe. I'm sure they are good bu DH is diabetic and I don't like to each this much sugar.

Do you bake this, cook it on the stovetop? This seems high in calories for 1/2 cup. Sounds delicious though.
