Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Confusing calorie count and serving numbers!!??? Only 1 cup of lettuce and 6 tbsp for 10 servings?? Doesn't calculate or make sense?
I can have a taco salad hurray!! I love taco salads but have been afraid to make any since I started eating healthy because everyone I knew to make was very fatting lol...not anymore ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty ty...>_<
The recipe sets up the idea and then you can customize to your taste. I exchanged the iceberg for romaine; the sour cream for non fat yogurt; toasted a corn tortilla instead of chips. it was so quick and delicious
This receipe can be modified, try black beans and eliminate the mean. Black beans have protien, and dont use sour cream use fat free greek yogurt which is nice an thick and taste great. Use romaine lettuce instead of iceburg, add cliantro, fresh salsa add avocado as well. Deduct the chips.
I really enjoyed this! The sweet corn is something I wouldn't have thought of. I finally felt like I was eating "real" food, but without having to cheat. I even added this to my Favorite foods in my Nutrition menu!
I would love to try this. I'm a little confused though. It says 10 servings but only 6 Tblsp sour cream, but each serving calls for 1 Tblsp. So Will the calories be off?
1-1/2 cups pinto beans, I will not put in recipe! Will this chage the "Calories"? Can not wait to eat it.
love this but i used ground deer meet which is less fat was great
Sounds delicious but will use a lot more lettuce and tomatoes to make it more filling without a lot of extra calories. Thanks!!
I halfed the recipe for me and my husband. I actually ate 2 servings (my husband ate the other 3). . I think 1 would be a little small. It was FANTASTIC! I also added some jalepanos ( I love spicy food) and used more lettuce and an extra TBSP of the low fat sour cream. I will def. make it again.
Great!!! I used canned fat free pintos and rinsed them. I ate without chips--rest of family used the chips. Everyone loved it.
