Nutrition & Calorie Comments

I could not figure out what the 1 TBS. of canola oil was for. It didn't mention it anywhere in the directions I'm surprised no one else caught this. I recalculated the recipe without the oil and substituting Panko Crumbs for the bread and came up with a calorie count of 91.5 cals. per patty.
I'm a Marylander so I was quite skeptical on this one...but they turned out fantastic! I broiled them on high for 5 minutes on each side. Flipping them can be tricky, so use a large spoon or spatula. Oh, and one more thing...use panko breadcrumbs instead and you save a lot of calories!
I tried these last night and they are awesome! I do have to say that I believe the protein and calories are wrong.
This is a good recipe. I altered it a bit adding in fat free cream cheese and half the crab meat. I also only used 1/4 cup of bread crumbs. My recommendation however is to SPRAY the foil before putting your cakes down. It makes them easier to get off the pan.
