Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Sounds good, but wondering if calorie count good
Not sure the nutrition numbers are accurate. Tastes good though.
For heaven's sake. use butter! The calorie count is the same, the taste much better. I used sugar, it affects texture, not just taste. If I'm going to eat a cookie, it better be perfect.
nice cookie but I used cherry flavor and up the calories with some icing
really??? like we "need" sugar cookie recipes on Spark??? LOL I think most of us have our own, which have been a source of problems in our lives already!
Am I missing the icing part? When it links on the recipe page it refers to the recipe as iced sugar cookies.
Instead of lemon flavoring, I added 1 teaspoon of lemon zest and I used sugar substitute. I thought they were a great substitute for the normal calorie laden christmas cookie!
I ran the ingredients and came up with these #'s, with regular white sugar 61 calories per cookie, and 37 cal per cookie with sugar subsitute.

If you don't like LEMON, try Banana flavoring, or Orange, etc, the choices are unlimited and can really add variety to your choices.
I was wondering if the cals were for the sugar or sugar-free version, too. When you click on the Ingredients under the nutrition label, everything says 0. Weird.
Sounds good, but I am wondering whether the calorie count is for the sugar version or the sugar substitute version.
The average cookie is 60 calories. I wouldn't call these low-calorie cookies. Vanilla wafers are only about 10.
Why must everyone put lemon flavoring on everything? Also, 52 calories seems kind of high for a small cookie (and who on here would eat just one?)?
