looks and sounds good, but 49 carbsw, that's a no no.

This is my first time making this shake it is very good. Will add it to my fav list. I added flax seed. To get my fiber and iron.
This is delicious. I just finished my shake and mmm, mmm, mmm...it was very good. I used vanilla almond milk, only because I didn't have fat free milk at home. Will definitely make this again.
I am the type that could not fathom the thought of peanut butter and bananas together. This is a marriage that I can now appreciate. Instead of lowfat milk, I used soy milk and it tasted pretty dang good!!
I made this for breakfast this morning and loved it!!! I added 1 scoop of Vanilla Whey Protein. Mmmmmm Gooooood!!!!
VERY good & super filling. I used low fat PB and added a dash of nutmeg & 4 ice cubes (I forgot to freeze the banana). Gunna try it was a frozen banana tomorrow morning so I dont have to water it down with ice. Still very good though!
Wonderful!!!!!! I added a tablespoon of chocolate Nesquik. It added 30 calories but wow! Love it!
Really good! I love that there is a lot of protein in it!
I love this smoothie! I've made it both ways with the 2tbsp of PB and with 1tbsp of PB and adding the cinnamon and nutmeg and I like the all PB better. I like the flavor and I can afford the calories. I use Jif Natural PB. It also makes all the difference to use frozen bananas! YUM!!!
I tried this recipe this morning. I modified it a little. Instead of the non-fat milk i used 8th continent light soymilk, 1 tbsp pb, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4tsp nutmeg. It was delicious. It's probably my favorite smoothie thus far.
YOU CAN CUT OUT SEVERAL GRAMS OF FAT BY SUBSTITUTING BETTER N PEANUT BUTTER FOR THE REAL THING IF AVAILABLE.
I made this with Better n Peanut Butter and with Almond Breeze instead of milk. That lowered the calories to 249. I enjoyed it much more than I expected to, actually! I am going ot try it with nutmeg next time, which sounds good, too. Love nutmeg (-:
Thanks for the Smoothie..I just made it .. not too bad..I have a cold so it will prob be even better after the colds gone..I think when i make it again im going to use half non-fat milk and half non-fat yogurt..What a good way to start the day!
Loved this! I made with one T of PB and added 2 T of reduced sugar hersheys syrup for an after dinner "treat" on a good calorie day where I had extra to spare. Very good!
It's very good. I am always looking for something a little high in calories than what I usually go for which is 200-300. I don't get enough calories in the morning and I am always low on protein. This is great and I will make it again and again
Thank you for the idea. I love PB and banana and (from Michellem79) strawberries. If I watch my calorie intake and not do this too often then I should be ok.
I am new to blenders and blender goodies. I was interested in something simple, fast and tasty and not overloaded with calories, cholesterol and sodium. This absolutely fills those requirements :)
Of course with the excellent MUFA (mono-unsaturated fat) of Peanut Butter it's going to sustain you quite awhile. I like the feedback of cutting down on the amount of PB to reduce the calories and add cinimon or nutmeg for more flavor.
Do you use reduced fat peanut butter in this or regular?
This sounds delicious but I do not drink my calories. I need to chew on my breakfast, and I would rather dip my banana into the PB and bite it, and drink the milk on the side but that is just me. I know many athletes enjoy smoothies after working out. Thanks for sharing! :-)
Sounds so good, but to many calories and too much fat.
I made with low fat chocolate milk. A little too much peanut butter taste for my liking. Will make again with just 1 tbsp of peanut butter.
I found a recipe similar to this in a healthy cookbook. If you lower the peanut butter content to just 1 tbsp, and add 1/4 tsp nutmeg, it's tastier and has less calories. :D Good suggestion!
My son and I make this at least once a week. We substitute Chocolate Soy Milk and all natural no sugar added peanut butter. And we freeze the bananas so that we don't have to add ice. It's delicious!
This was delicious! I had my 6 yr old son taste it & he was leary at first. Then he started liking it after a couple of sips. 374.4 calories isn't bad. Sparks has me on a 338-420 plan on certain days even. All depends on ur plan. U have to eat to lose. Bananas, peanut butter & skim milk. Perfect!
Loved this! Great summer breakfast. I pack my breakfasts full of protein, so this was PERFECT. 374 cals. isn't too bad, I work at a summer camp, so I am constantly on-the-go all day long. YuMmY!
I added 6-8 ice cubes to mine to make it a bit thicker. It also makes it feel like I'm "eating" more
Umm It sounds delicious, but 391 calories for breakfast? I don't see this as a good healthy choice.
