Frankie, you are right about the cooked verses dry lentils. What I do when entering ingredients for a recipe is cross-check the calories with the nutrition information on the package of lentils or whatever, which usually specifies dry or cooked.
I actually used lean ground turkey and the total is near 620 calories. I did the calculations because I was subbing the turkey. I use http://caloriecount.about.com/cc/recipe_an
alysis.php so I am going to go with a small serving (1/12th of the recipe) tonight, since it's made. Sparks accuracy?
