Made it "my way" with out meat or the sauce but used a tad of crushed galic/olive oil infusion, spinach, mushrooms, and a low sodium cheese that I enjoy and it was really good. This is a fun recipe and can be altered to anyone's tastes and sodium preferences if they think about it prior to making. - 6/28/08

My sister has done the personal pita pizzas for years, she gathers all the ingredients from pineapple, ham, cheeses, etc., and everyone makes thier own. She uses the small pita pockets. It is always a hit.
P.S. You can use NSA tom sauce to cut the sodium. Make of it what YOU want. We do... - 12/27/10

Sounds great I would substitute my own sauce because of the sodium. I would boil a few tomotoes puree it then add basil and onions. I used Mortons light salt or Mrs. Dash vs. Salt. Add pepper to the sauce and garlic and you will have a much healther pizza sauce without the high amounts of sodium. - 6/18/09

I prefer my pizza soft & chewy so I put it all together cold & put it in toaster oven then roll it up to eat it. You can also roll it up then melt it in microwave. To prevent sogginess, put the cheese on 1st then the toppings. I also prefer a whole wheat flour tortilla, they're soft to start with. - 12/27/10

I made these in the toaster oven tonight on flour tortillas (all we had in the house.) Added finely chopped onion too. Toasted first, making sure to take a knife to them part way and make a hole, as they liked to puff up,topped and heated. Great to fight a pizza craving. Thanks for the idea! - 10/14/12
