Ingredients

    1 can pinto beans
    1 can black beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    2 cans fire roasted tomatoes (with green chiles)
    1/2 cup textured vegetable protein (optional)
    chile powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, pepper, other spices to taste.

Directions

Combine beans and tomatoes in a large pot. Heat over medium heat until bubbling, then lower to a simmer. After 30 minutes, add TVP, stirring to incorporate. When TVP has rehydrated, add spices of your choice to taste. I always use garlic, chile powder, oregano and pepper.
