Very easy to make and tasty. Next time I'll use cream of chicken in place of cream of mushroom. Like others, we served over brown rice and had green beans on the side. - 10/3/08

I served this with steamed broccoli over whole wheat pasta and my family had a fit over it. Will definitely make again. - 11/1/07

The changes I made were I did two cans cheddar and one can cream of chicken, I also added 3/4 cup sour cream to sauce before serving to cut down on saltyness. Very good over rice. - 10/22/07

I also used carrots, celery and fingerling potatoes. I diced up an onion and added it too. I used 1 can of chicken broth, 1 can cheddar cheese soup and 1 can of cream of chicken. I added 5 cubes of Trader Joes frozen diced garlic! - 12/5/07

I have made something similiar as well, but with big chunks of carrots, potatoes, onions, and celery. We used 2 cans of soup - any cream variety (although I like celery and cheddar best). - 10/29/07

Ive made this before but with the reduced cream of mushroom and reduced cream of chicken--we also cut up mushrooms and broccoli bits--just a little healthier. We love it. - 10/25/07

Cut the recipe in half; used 1 can cream of chix, and 1 cheddar. I didn't have onion powder, so just chopped an onion and threw in there. Served over white rice and with green beans. It was excellent, but won't cook very often, only because of the super high sodium content. Was very good otherwise. - 3/26/12

This is my kids favorite recipe!! They ask for it weekly and so easy to make. We use cream of chicken or cheese brocolli (instead of mushroom) and add frozen peas. - 7/17/11

I just tried this recipe with reduced fat/sodium broccoli and cheese, rf/s mushroom, and rf cheese. I also used frozen chicken breasts... I did this on my last crockpot dish and it worked out fine, might make it a little runny, we'll see... - 5/27/11
