Introduction

Delicious and fiber-filled! Delicious and fiber-filled!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

1/2 cup of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup of raspberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup of milk (whichever kind you use)
1/2 cup of Old Fashioned Quaker Oats
    *Water for thickness

Directions

If using frozen berries, thaw a little bit first.

1. Place all ingredients in a blender.

2. Blend until you're happy with the texture. You may add some water to make it runnier, but it's not necessary.

3. Pour into a cup and enjoy!

Makes one 16-ounce smoothie meal, or two 8-ounce glasses. Recipe may be halved or doubled.

If you have a sweet tooth, you can add sugar or a sweetener, but I prefer it without additives.

    Bad
Very runny and kind of bland. I think yogurt would be a better choice than milk; vanilla yogurt if you wanted to sweeten it. - 1/17/10
