Ingredients

1 pkg. (17.3 oz.) puff pastry sheets (2 sheets), thawed
    1 egg white
    3/4 cup good-quality semi-sweet chocolate chunks
2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries, pitted cherries, or chopped strawberries (or a mixture)

Directions

Roll a single puff pastry sheet into about a 16" square.
Brush pastry lightly with egg white.
Cut pastry sheet into sixteen 4"x4" squares.
Place about 1 tsp. chocolate and one or two raspberries in center of each square.
Fold to form a triangle and press firmly on both edges with a fork or pastry crimper to seal.
Prick the centre of the pastry with a fork
Repeat with remaining pastry sheet, chocolate and raspberries.
Put filled pastries onto large un-greased sheets. Freeze 30 minimum minutes.
Pastries can be fully frozen individually at this point and sealed in a heavy-duty bag for later use.

I made this with cherries and it was awesome! I also found it easier to put them in muffin cups to bake so no juice runs out. - 2/25/08

FANTASTIC!!! I only had cheap chocolate chips on hand and a couple of cans of crescent rolls, but they were still delicious! I think my husband ate three. I froze half of them so we can have a treat another time. I knew if I didn't freeze them, they would all be gone in a matter of minutes! :) - 2/16/10

I love the fact that you can freeze some of them to use later. It cuts down on the temptation of having too many baked ones left over. I will definitely try this recipe. They sound delicious. - 3/29/19

I made these for Valentines Day when my daughter and her family were here. Everyone loved them! My grandchildren had 2-I used strawberries as I couldn't find frozen raspberries. I have to make dessert for our ladies meeting next month and I think I'll make these. - 2/19/08

I will definitely have to try this. I am a chocoholic and love raspberries. If I had not already eaten everything I have allowed myself today I would make them now because I just happen to have everything on hand. Maybe tomorrow. - 2/17/08

So easy! Everyone loved this. I was amazed at the differences in baking choc, and made sure to get the one where cocoa was the main ingredient and sugar was used instead of high fructose corn syrup. - 2/17/08

Mmmmmmm these were delicious! However, I decided to cut my second rolled puff pastry square into 9 4''x4'' squares instead of 16, it made for easier handling of the pastry - VERY good, made them for Valentine's desert! - 2/17/08

Made these last night for Valentine's day - heavenly!! I took someone's suggestion and added some vanilla yogurt - I compared these with the non-yogurt version: gives a creamier texture. - 2/15/08
