BOOKMARK
I remember Waldorf Salad from my childhood (as someone else also memtioned. We had red apples (skin on-for eye appeal I suppose), no celery and Kraft Salad Dressing (or mayo). The additiion of celery and substitution of yogurt for dressing may make this version more healthy and less fattening. - 7/21/08

I sometimes use a pear in place of some of the apple. I sweeten the yogurt with a bit of honey and add a touch of vanilla. Sometimes I use pecans or almonds instead of walnuts.
added sliced grapes, used dried blueberries instead of raisins, pecans and blueberry yogurt.
