I tweaked the recipe a bit by using skinless Polka Kalbasa, no curry seed, some McCormicks veggie seasoning and chicken broth instead of beef. This came out fantastic and my husband loved it along with a side of sweet cornbread! - 7/15/10

This was SO good! My mom used to make this when we were kids and I hated it. I just made this recipe for my family and my dad and everyone came back for seconds. This will be a wonderful cold weather recipe this winter! - 9/5/08

Easy and delicious, but I needed a bigger pot or less cabbage. Do I sauté first? A tad confusing. - 10/3/19

My husband and I enjoyed this for dinner tonight. The next time I make it, I think I will cook the cabbage with the juice mixture by itself for a bit longer. Otherwise, I would not change a thing! - 9/21/13

So fantastic and I loved that it is a one pan dish! I've made it twice and it makes A LOT of food so prepare for that. I also used all of the potatoes to try to cut down on the carbs. Thanks! - 1/9/12

LOVED this! Made it for my husband and two kids and they couldn't get enough! Next time I will cook the potatoes and carrots a bit before I add everything else just to soften them, but only because my husband prefers it. Thanks for the great recipe! - 10/12/11

We made this tonight. I didn't use ANY kind of juice and none of those seasonings. I used 2 C of water with 1T of beef bouillon and a good shake of black pepper and simmered for 30 minutes. IT WAS AMAZING! - 2/3/11

    Good
This was quite tasty. I added black pepper to mine, as I like the flavor of it with cabbage. I didn't have any juice, so I just used chicken broth from a box and I used Spicy Brown Mustard. It was really good. Although, for the amount of veg,I think a bit more sausage would be good. But overall, yum - 5/8/10

I removed the potatoes and served over rice. I also used jalapeno turkey sausage for some added zest. - 10/13/08

I didn't have grape juice so I used apple juice and I left out the caraway seeds (don't like them). Was very delicious and I will definitely make it again. - 2/8/08
