Excellent! Very homey - just like chicken pot pie minus all the fat and calories. Sliced the potatoes extra thin with a food processor, cut up the chicken, added some frozen peas, sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, salt, pepper, and thyme. Served with a dollop of sour cream for extra deliciousness! - 11/16/07

This is such a nice fast dish and tastes so good! I usually add a bit of thyme to it and some frozen peas and carrots though to make it a complete meal. Thank you! - 11/13/07

I made this one night in a hurry for my girls and they just loved it. My DH said it tasted just like a chicken pot pie without the crust. - 11/13/07

I make a version of this using the crock pot. I add 4 skinless chicken breasts, a bag of mini carrots, and two cans of cream of chicken soup. I cook this on high for 5 hours and then shred (pull) the chicken breasts. My family lOVES this over rice or with couscous. (Add veggies as desired.) - 10/24/09

Recipe was definitely easy to prepare but lacked flavor. Next time I think I'll add some poultry seasoning and cut the chicken up. - 10/18/09

This was quite good, although I don't know how good it would have been without additions. I added a can of green beans, skim milk, & 3.5 oz fresh mozzarella all torn up. I cubed & peppered the chicken, and ended up with a very nice dish. I wish I had carrots or corn in the house to add to it. - 1/14/09

Maybe if I put it in a smaller dish it would have made it better, and maybe I was supposed to chop the chicken breasts? It just didn't taste all that great. I took the recipe out of my binder and tossed it. My husband and daughter weren't too fond of it either. I did season the chicken w/S&P. - 1/11/09

This is a keeper, although I did do alterations to it. I sliced up 1/4 small onion @ put the rings on top of the potatoes, salt & peppered, added chicken breast then covered with soup & 1/2 cup of 2% milk and parsley (mixed). DH fell in love with this meal and it is fast & EASY!!!!! - 1/5/09

To: Krystynao2, it tells you 2 cans of sliced Potatoes right in the recipe. Third item.

This recipe sounds real easy and something I would eat. I would probably add some frozen broccoli . Will have to try it.

I made this one last night and I added 1/2 bag mixed veggies to it and then seasoned w/ some salt, but toooo much pepper -- I will try again. I also did not have cr. chix so I used cr. mush -- next time I will try the cr. chix and see how it goes... - 11/18/07

I used thinly sliced regular potatoes and microwaved them for a while first. I left the chicken breasts intact and they were a bit tasteless. I realised later that I should have cut them up. I agree that this recipe would benefit by more instructions. Do you put a lid on the casserole? - 11/14/07

This recipe needs more instruction, like do you mean regular potatoes, frozen potatoes, etc??? I used regular potatoes cut up and 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked was far from it. I had to end up microwaving the potatoes to get them done...it was taking forever!! - 10/6/07
