Only Gave me 7 cups and when i entered it into the calorie builder myself ended up with 142 calories almost three times what it says here. Had very good taste was a little too salty might try again with low sodium broth... - 10/1/09

OK, this sounds really good but what size bag of potatoes, how many oz. are in a box of chicken broth as our store only sells cans, and what is pioneer peppered gravy mix? Is Pioneer the brand? I only found McCormick Peppered country gravy at my store. - 12/18/08

Sorry for not being more specific on my recipe. You can use a box of chicken broth, or 4 cans and I think there is only one size of O'brien potatoes. You can use any peppered gravy mix you prefer, pioneer is the brand that I use.

Since I'm allergic to onion, I got the regular tots and added roasted red peppers and minced garlic. Everything else was the same. YUMMY! - 9/9/08

I made this today! It was delicious! I did not have beef broth, but used water and 5 beef bouillon cubes instead. You would never know the difference. Thank you for sharing the recipe. Definitely going to be a staple in my kitchen. - 3/3/19

    Very Good
I "tweaked" the recipe a little. Publix didn't have the Pioneer Peppered Gravy so I bought the Pioneer Country Gravy mix. I also added one can of cream of chicken and some cut up celery. I just thought the recipe sounded like it would turn out too watery. I loved the result. Thanks. So easy! - 11/17/15
