Great recipe! I cooked it in a crock pot (5 hours low), but didn't add the beans and corn till the last 30 minutes. My family loved it! Great with guacamole on the side! - 12/3/09

I made this recipe tonight at my sister's house, despite my BIL (jokingly) advising me not to make any diet food. I'm happy to say we all, including my picky 7 year old niece, enjoyed the recipe. Only differences-- I used frozen corn (less sodium) & red pepper flakes. - 5/17/08

Very good recipe. I added a can of tomatoes w/green chiles instead of the tomato sauce, and a second can of regular tomatoes to get more liquid in there. It made 10 servings at 1 cup each. I was full after just the one serving! - 1/14/08

I made a recipe very similar, but with only 1# gr.turkey, added celery hearts, and substitued the seasoned beans for red kidney beans. It made 12 1 cup servings, 205 calories each with a sodium count of 256.3. It freezes beautifully for lunches at work! - 1/23/10

My family loves chili and we loved this recipe! I had almost every ingedient in my pantry. I substituted another can of tomatoes instead of sauce, included the juice from the corn and used green pepper instead of red. We will be eating this again and again! - 1/9/08

I really liked this recipe, but I would say I would not use as much red peppers in this. It was to hot... I liked the flavor though,,,, I also did not put the red bell pepper in it, because my husband can not eat them.. I will make this again. I had wanted to know what the actual serving size? - 1/24/10

This recipe is wonderful! I only used a pound of turkey. I used 2 red peppers. No hot pepper. I did not measure out the spices. I like to shake them out. The sprinkle cap from the chili powder fall off along with almost half the chili powder in the container. Excellent chili! I highly recommend it! - 5/24/09

Loved it. I actually used only half the amount of spices and white beans in place of the seasoned chili beans so everyone in the family would eat it. Even my 5 year old finished hers! Thanks, will use this recipie again! - 1/11/09

Good basic chili recipe. I use more beans and add fresh jalapenos to give more kick!

To those concerned about sodium, you should use fresh tomatoes, beans and corn. The sodium in this recipes comes from the canned items.

Delicious! Made this with low sodium or no salt added canned ingredients, so for the naysayers you can make this low sodium. Even at almost 362 mg per serving, it's not bad considering everything else out there ;) - 1/9/09

Like many, we had this with a few changes: crockpot on low; snuck in (all grated:) onions, garlic, celery and carrots for more fiber and veg for the carnivore in our crowd; swapped small can of green chilies for green pepper, omitted black beans; was kind of runny, but served on quinoa + brown rice. - 1/3/21

This is great! However, a word of caution for those in Australia: Chili powder in Aus has thrice the kick of chili powder in the US. I could use a whole packet of chili powder back in KS without a problem. 1 tblspn of chili powder in Aus...it made it inedible for me. It was VERY hot. - 5/30/14

I didn't have chili beans, so added a can of kidney beans.I also only had a large can of crushed tomatoes, so added those and 3/4 cup of water, I added 3 lg. cloves of garlic minced, too. I didn't have a Tbsp. of pepper flakes, maybe 3/4 Tbsp., and the heat was plenty for us. Delicious! - 2/3/14
