Introduction

These fruity kebabs will outshine everything else on your Memorial Day or Fourth of July dessert table. These fruity kebabs will outshine everything else on your Memorial Day or Fourth of July dessert table.

Ingredients

    12 jumbo marshmallows
    3 large, round seedless watermelon slices, approximately 1" thick, rind removed
    1 pint blueberries
    1/2 pint raspberries
    12 wooden or bamboo skewers
    Star-shaped cookie or fondant cutters

Tips

You could swap in strawberries or blackberries, if desired.


Directions

Use a 1/2" star cookie or fondant cutter to cut stars out of the marshmallows (optional).
Place the slices of watermelon on a cutting board. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to make 12 stars.
Thread a few raspberries and blueberries onto each skewer, then add one watermelon star and one marshmallow.


Serving Size: 12 skewers; 1 per serving

    It looks delicious, no pretty, so nutritious. But the marshmallow will have to go! Why top off a perfectly healthy dessert with nothing but pure sugar. I'm going to substitute a green grape, OK, it's not white, but it IS healthy! Marshmallow really don't have a place in our Healthy Lifestyle!! - 5/18/14
